This 1930s shop display cabinet is one of the nicest we have ever sourced. A really useable neat desktop size it remains in pristine condition. Made from oak with drop down back panel and slanted glass front it has a top mounted coloured decal panel with trade name Christopher Johnson & Co Sheffield, England. Very Deco. ON THE DOT

Ercol chairs have never gone out of style due to their solid construction, great ergonomic design and timeless craftsmanship. Some of the iconic Ercol designs are being made once again, and prices are high due to level of skill required to produce such classic designs. Renewed interest has made vintage Ercol very sought after and made hard to find pieces such as the "dot" chairs very desirable. We have sourced two of these beautiful elm 'BlueDot' Ercol chairs, designed by Lucian Ercolani in the late 1950s, and they are stunning.

OFF MY TROLLEY

Anyone who has an interest in interior design will have noticed the rise and rise of Industrial items being used in room sets. One key piece is often enough to give the look without going overboard, and can be a great conversation piece in a contemporary interior. Industrial factory trollies are 'hot' at the moment in UK and USA, used as a low coffee table they give instant impact and grounding - and are really useable. This beautiful example has just arrived in stock from Europe. A strong wooden planked top with cast iron frame that houses glides on one end and wheels on the other. It has the original forged plaque Breton Freres, Lille Nord-France. A cracking example that you just don't see this side of the pond. One of the most comfortable and well made rocking chairs from the mid century, this Ercol rocker has just arrived in stock. Fantastic vintage condition with original covers in a mustard coloured striped tweed. The solid elm and beech construction of this chair is so sculptural and organic that some people prefer it without the cushions - and it is supremely comfortable either way. It's always great to find a nice BIg piece of Cathrineholm - it's such a simple, bright, cheery design it lights up any mid century display. Good pieces are hard to come by, and in Ireland they are almost impossible to source, so imagine our surprise when we stumbled on this giant 11" orange Cathrineholm cooking pot in a cracking bright orange - what a find.
