Large hand painted lidded casserole dish by designed by Marianne Westman c.1956 for Rorstrand pottery, Sweden. This has become one of the iconic mid-century designs due to its colourful, crisp, abstract illustrations. The bright colours and playful design made it an instant success in the 1950s and this dish shows a lot of pattern all around the dish.
