We are regularly asked to source original vintage storage boxes, they have become popular as accent pieces in retro interiors, and useful for storage in kitchens and bathrooms. Good quality pieces with and Irish connection are always hard to find, so we were delighted to come across this beautiful 1930s wooden packing box stamped with Taaffe & Coldwell, shirt tailors based in Grafton Street, Dublin.

We have just taken delivery of some original G Plan vintage pieces. Nests of tables, Astro table, wardrobe, and this stunning tallboy chest of drawers. A really elegant piece of mid-century design, with soft curves and sculpted elegance. Beautiful rich teak with solid rosewood handles, this unit not only looks good, it's a really useful, with loads of storage space yet neat enough to fit into the tightest corner. Hans Olsen Compact Dining Set -

Possibly the most unique and well designed dining set to come out of Denmark.

A design classic, Hans Olsen's iconic set for Frem Rojle, designed in 1953, has gained tremendous popularity because of its space saving and sleek design. It is the perfect combination of form and function.The four three-legged chairs integrate perfectly with the skirt of the table, like pie wedges, forming one neat unit. The table and chairs are made from solid Burmese teak. The table is 107cms diameter, and all pieces are stamped Frem Rojle Moblefabrik. DISHY

Large hand painted lidded casserole dish by designed by Marianne Westman c.1956 for Rorstrand pottery, Sweden. This has become one of the iconic mid-century designs due to its colourful, crisp, abstract illustrations. The bright colours and playful design made it an instant success in the 1950s and this dish shows a lot of pattern all around the dish.
