The gorgeous Jason chair was designed in 1950s by the Danish designer Carl Jacobs and was
manufactured by Kandya.The seat and back of the chair are folded from a
single sheet of flexible plywood. Principally designed for domestic use, three hundred were installed in the South Bank
Restaurant on the site of the Festival of Britain.
This is the earlier, highly sought after all wood version, fully stamped and marked.
An iconic very collectable chair that is featured regularly in style magazines and examples of which are found in most Modern Design museums.
