This is a great ICF made Eames chair. It is comfortable and beautifully made. ICF were licenced manufacturers of Eames designs, to the original specifications in Italy up until the 1990s when the license passed to Vitra. The ICF examples have now become more desirable as they are no longer available and it is rare to find original examples in such great condition. Complete with original ICF labels stating they have been made to the original Eames specifications, these chairs are a great investment you can literally afford to sit on.

In the years following the Second World War, John and Sylvia Reid were at the forefront of British mid-century modern design. They were employed as design consultants by Stag, and designed some iconic modern pieces. The first project John and Sylvia Reid did for Stag was a bedroom suite called Cumberland, or the `C` range, which was strikingly minimalist. The `C` range had a strong influence on the design of British mass market modern furniture throughout the Fifties.
We have just sourced a beautiful original example of a C range dressing table and chest of drawers in an oak finish. The dressing table is neat, at only 89cms wide, and comes with a Formica top which flips up to reveal a mirror and storage section - this unit would also make a fabulous desk or workstation. The chest of drawers is 76cms wide and matches the height of the dressing table at 75cms - both are raised on atomic wooden legs. An iconic original design from the 50s rarely seen in Ireland, and are now available as a set or separately. To reserve or view please contact

Klassic Krenit

This beautiful vintage original Krenit 10" enamel salad bowl has just arrived in stock. The marriage of design and function brought immediate popularity to this series and made it one of the classic modernist designs of the 50s. The Designer Herbert Krenchel says: "In 1953 the idea was to make a beautiful bowl, preferably so functional and delicate that it was equally suited for use in the kitchen, on the dining table and as a decoration in the sitting room. As a material researcher I really concentrated on getting the different materials to match and look good together, as well as making them equally compatible to use together." This iconic design won a gold medal at La Trienale in Milan and is displayed in museums all over the world. Quite simply, a Mid Century Modern Icon. To view or purchase this piece please contact
