Anyone interested in Scandinavian ceramics should keep a look out for pieces by Upsala Ekeby factory. They had the cream of designers in the mid century period producing a huge range of studio wares that canny collectors are now seeking out and prices are climbing accordingly. I have written about the designs of Hjordis Oldfors couple of months ago but i have just picked up this beautiful 'Pepita' vase by Ingrid Atterberg made in the mid 50s and is my current favourite find.
