This is a great ICF made Eames
chair. It is comfortable and beautifully made. ICF were licenced manufacturers of Eames designs, to the original specifications in
Italy up until the 1990s when the license passed to Vitra. The ICF examples have now become more desirable as they are no longer available and it is rare to find original examples in such great condition. Complete with original ICF labels stating they have been made to the original Eames specifications, these chairs are a great investment you can literally afford to sit on.
This
chair is the low back mesh seat variant standing on the swivel five prong base, each foot terminating in a smooth glide. Collectors and chair enthusiasts like the mesh version as it shows off the smooth curved aluminium frame to best effect, yet remains extremely comfortable.
